DAY 01: ARRIVE GUWAHATI – SHILLONG (150 KM / 2 -3 Hrs)
Meet and greet at arrival and then transfer to Shillong. The ‘Scotland of East’ visit Umium Lake/Park – “Barapani”, Popular among the locals for its adventure water sports like row-boats, paddle-boats, cruise boats, sailing boats, water scooters and speed boats.
This is a very popular place for picnic, fishing and watersports. In the evening you can visit the Police Bazaar. Overnight stay in Shillong.
DAY 02: SHILLONG – CHERRAPUNJEE – SHILLONG (~150 KMS)
After Breakfast, excursion to Cherrapunjee. Enjoy sightseeing points: Elephant Falls, Mawkdok Dympep Valley View, Wah Kaba Falls, Thangkhrang Park, Nohsngithiang Falls, Nohkalikai Waterfalls, Mawsmai Cave and Arwah Cave and return back to hotel and Overnight stay in Shillong.
DAY 03: SHILLONG – MAWLYNNONG – DAWKI –SHILLONG (~205 KMS)
After breakfast in the hotel excursion to Dawki(Tamabil – Indo Bangladesh Border and Umngot River) and visit Mawlynnong , return back to Shillong. Sightseeing places includes: Umngot River, Indo-Bangladesh Friendship Border, Balancing Rock, Riwai Root Bridge and Mawlynnong Village.
Optional: Boat ride in Dawki – Umgnot River. (ON DIRECT PAYMENT BASIS) Overnight stay in Shillong.
DAY04: SHILLONG – KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK( 320 KMS / 7-8 Hrs)
After Breakfast at hotel, visit Don Bosco Museum & Ward’s Lake. Later drive to Kaziranga. Kaziranga National Park, the home of "One Horned Rhinoceros" and park with the highest density of Royal Bengal Tigers. Evening free for leisure or explore the local market.
Optional: Bihu Dance/ Karbi Dance (For groups and had to be pre booked) Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
DAY 05: KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK
Early morning Elephant Ride (Either Central “KOHORA” or Western Range “BAGORI”)(Optional: Unless it is mentioned in the inclusion).
Later return back to hotel for breakfast.
Ride timings: 5.30 AM/6.30 AM/ 7.30 AM
After breakfast you can visit “Kaziranga orchid and Biodiversity Park” and Tea Garden also visit Hathikhuli Tea outlet – for direct tea retail outlet by Hathikhuli Tea Garden for organic CTC and organic Green Tea. Afternoon 2.00 PM you will have JEEP SAFARI/GAME DRIVE in Central range/Western Range.(Optional: Unless it is mentioned in the inclusion).
Optional: Bihu Dance/ Karbi Dance (For groups and had to be pre booked)
Evening you can enjoy Cultural programme at Kaziranga Orchid & Biodiversity park. Consider going to Orchid park in the evening to avoid paying entry fee twice.
Note: Visit during late afternoon as show starts at 6:30 so during the day light you can explore the park area and Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
DAY 06: KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK – GUWAHATI (250 KMS / 4-5 Hrs)
After breakfast at hotel check out and hit the road to Guwahati. If time available visit MaaKamakhaya Temple and then drop at Guwahati Airport for your onwards Journey.
