DAY 01: ARRIVE GUWAHATI – KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK (250 KMS / 4-5 Hrs)
Meet and greet at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station and hit the road to Kaziranga National Park, the home of "One Horned Rhinoceros", Check in at hotel and Evening free for leisure or explore the local market and Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
DAY 02: KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK
Early morning Elephant Ride (Either Central “KOHORA” or Western Range “BAGORI”) (Optional: Unless it is mentioned in the inclusion).Later return back to hotel for breakfast.
Ride timings: 5.30 AM/6.30 AM/ 7.30 AM
After breakfast you can visit “Kaziranga orchid and Biodiversity Park” and Tea Garden also visit Hathikhuli Tea outlet – for direct tea retail outlet by Hathikhuli Tea Garden for organic CTC and organic Green Tea.
Afternoon 2.00 PM you will have JEEP SAFARI/GAME DRIVE in Central range/Western Range.(Optional: Unless it is mentioned in the inclusion).
Optional: Bihu Dance/ Karbi Dance (For groups and had to be pre booked)
Evening you can enjoy Cultural programme at Kaziranga Orchid & Biodiversity park. Consider going to Orchid park in the evening to avoid paying entry fee twice.
Note: Visit during late afternoon as show starts at 6:30 so during the day light you can explore the park area and Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
DAY 03: KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK – SHILLONG (~ 325 KMS)
Morning JEEP SAFARI/GAME DRIVE in Central range/Western Range.
(Optional: Unless it is mentioned in the inclusion). Road to Shillong. The ‘Scotland of the East’,
Visit Umium Lake/Park and in the Evening you can visit famous Police Bazaar (PB) of your own.
Enjoy Water Sports like row-boats, paddle-boats, cruise boats, sailing boats, water scooters and speed boats. This is a very popular place for picnic, fishing and watersports. Overnight stay at Shillong.
DAY 04: SHILLONG – CHERRAPUNJEE (65 KMS / 2-3 Hrs)
After Breakfast,in hotel check out and drive to Cherrapunjee.The sightseeing points: Elephant Falls, Mawkdok Dympep Valley View,Wah Kaba Falls, Thangkhrang Park, Nohsngithiang Falls, Nohkalikai Waterfalls, Mawsmai Cave and Arwah Cave. Later check in at hotel and Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.
DAY 05: CHERRAPUNJEE –MAWLYNNONG – DAWKI - PYNURSLA
After early breakfast excursion to Mawlynnong and then Drive to Dawki (Tamabil – Indo Bangladesh Border and Umngot River), It’s the bordering town to Bangladesh town Tamabil. On the way visit places like Indo- Bangladesh Friendship border, Dawki River, Balancing Rock, Single Root Bridge & Mawlynnong Village and return to hotel.
Optional: Boat ride in Dawki – Umgnot River. (ON DIRECT PAYMENT BASIS) and Overnight stay in Pynursla
DAY 06: PYNURSLA – JOWAI – KRANGSURI FALLS – NARTIANG - SHILLONG
After Breakfast, visit Krangsuri Falls and then excursion to Nartiang to visit Durga Temple, the Monolith of Jaintia Kingdom. Monoliths exist throughout the length and breadth of the Khasi and Jaintia Hills. Return to hotel and Overnight stay in Shillong
DAY 07: SHILLONG TOUR & EXCURSION TO LAITLUM CANYON - GUWAHATI
Breakfast at hotel and excursion to Laitlum Canyon (Hiking trail).
The hidden canyon will make you fall in love with Meghalaya, Laitlum Canyons is a haunt of the mountainous state of Meghalaya. Visit Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Culture [DBCIC]and Ward’s Lake, . Overnight stay at Guwahati.
DAY 08: GUWAHATI
Early morning visit Maa Kamakhaya Temple. Return back to hotel. After breakfast, visit State Emporium, Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra (A museum of Assam diverse culture). You can also visit Umananda Island (The smallest inhabited island of India) – There is a Shiva temple in the island and the only way to go there is through a ferry.
Evening you can have walk around the market and can find shops with fine “Muga Silk” dresses.
Optional: Sunset Brahmaputra River Cruise (ON DIRECT PAYMENT BASIS) and Overnight stay in Guwahati.
DAY 09: GUWAHATI DEPARTURE
After Breakfast at hotel transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway station for your departure.
