DAY 01: ARRIVE AT JAYALGARH :
Arrive late in the afternoon & drive initially along the Ganga & then Alaknanda. Enroute you can see the holy conference of Alaknanda & Bhagirathi Rivers at Devprayag. Check into the camp. The camp is set on the banks of river Alaknanda and has open views of a few villages set scenically in the nearby mountains. Later in the evening go for an evening walk by the riverside. One can take a dip into the water under the supervision of guides. Enjoy your freshly prepared dinner and crash into your tents. Overnight at Jayalgarh.
DAY 02: JAYALGARH (550M) - AULI(2800M) (DRIVE 4.5 HRS) & EVENING HIKE TOWARDS GURSON MEADOWS (TREK/2- 3 HRS) :
After an early breakfast, drive for about 4.5 hrs to reach Auli, India’s premier skiing destination. In summers also it’s a great location with very close views of the most revered and 2’nd highest mountain in India, Nanda Devi Peak. Check in, followed by lunch. Rest for some time and then drive to Auli top. We start hiking and cross the forest over Auli and get on towards the Gurson meadows. Highlight of today’s walk has to be the up close & very personal views of Nanda Devi & Doonagiri peaks that one gets along the trail. We spend some time in this serene setting and return to the lodge towards late evening. On arrival relax with a hot cup of masala tea and a bowl of hot pakodas. Overnight at Auli.
DAY 03: AULI - DHAK/TUGASI - TREK TO GULLING (TREK/ 3 – 3.5 HRS & DRIVE/ 2 HRS) :
Post breakfast, be driven to Dhak/Tugasi, the starting point of your trek which is marked with a few shops. From Dhak/Tugasi we start trekking towards Gulling. The trail winds up on top of the villages & sets you into the wilderness of the forest, finally taking you to the camp at Gulling. The day ends around the bonfire. Overnight at Gulling.
DAY 04: GULLING - TUGASI - LATA VILLAGE - TAPOVAN - AULI (TREK/2.5 HRS & DRIVE/ 3.5 HRS):
After breakfast we set on the trail that traverses gradually from Gulling to Dhak/Tugasi. On your way back you will witness the last of Himalayan panorama of underlying valleys, gigantic Himalayas & beautiful villages. From Dhak, we drive about 90 mins to reach Lata. From here we will walk towards Lata Village and visit Nanda Devi Temple which is about half an hour walk from road head. Later drive back to Auli & enroute visit hot spring Tapovan. Overnight at Auli.
DAY 05: AULI - RAFTING ON ALAKNANDA - JAYALGARH (DRIVE/ 4.5 HRS) :
After an early breakfast, we drive down to Srinagar, the starting point of rafting. This rafting stretch is an ideal for the first timers & experience too. Along with the rafting, you will also enjoy cliff jumping, body surfing & swimming under the supervision of our guides. The rafting ends at the camp Jayalgarh. Once in the camp, relax the tired muscles by relaxing around a crackling bonfire. Overnight at Jayalgarh.
DAY 06: JAYALGARH - SHIVPURI - RAFTING & DEPART FROM RISHIKESH (DRIVE/ 75 KMS) (2 HRS) :
After a leisurely breakfast you will get into the vehicles and drive to Shivpuri, the starting point of rafting. The excitement continues with rafting on the Holy Ganga. Today you get to raft on rapids naming Roller coaster, Golf corse, Double trouble and many more on the river Ganga. This is going to be a truly memorable experience, enjoying every second of it. Change into fresh clothes and continue with your onwards journey. Trip ends here.
